Leland D. Pace joined Stewart, Archibald & Barney, LLP in 1979. He is a CPA with decades of experience working with closely held businesses. His background in tax and audit, as well as having served on various Boards of Directors and helping business owners has given him the broad knowledge base to assist and consult with clients. Pace’s main focus is on planning for the future. He helps clients create opportunities by proactively coaching them in order to accomplish their goals. His fluency in Japanese has also helped develop the firm’s extended business dealings. Pace serves as the treasurer of the Japan-America Society of Nevada Board of Directors, is on the Board of Directors for Desert Community Bank and is a member of the Clark County School District Bond Oversight Committee, which oversees the billion-dollar expansion of schools in Southern Nevada. His other commitments include supporting the Boy Scouts of America and serving on the UNLV Accounting Advisory Council. He graduated with distinction from UNLV with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
